| We, T.H.E.M.(The Honorable Elijah Muhammad) P'Umoja Brotherhood, Inc. here in Birmingham, Alabama, pray this message reach you and your family in the best of health and mind. We appeal to Muslims, and to all members of the original Black Nation in America, to invest in an Economic Savings Program to secure necessities for our future generations. The areas of necessities are as follows: Food- agricultural (farming), Food processing (canneries) and grocery stores; Clothing- sewing manufactures, retail and wholesale distribution facilities; Shelter- building/refurbishing real estate and contract housing for families, elderly, children, disabled, and women; Health Facilities- hospitals, day spas, 24-hour care facilities and recreation centers; and Transportation- 24-hour auto-mechanic services and 24-hour shuttling system. We are asking you to help us enlarge our educational system so that our people can be educated. This we refer to as re-education into the knowledge of self, our history and the knowledge of the good things of life, of which we have been deprived. This Plan of Action consist of implementing a guaranteed program to secure basic necessities for our children, disabled, elders and women including business, jobs and institutes of higher learning. |
