THE BLACK AUGUST TOUR of the SONG OF LIFE ENSEMBLE will be at the COMMUNITY BOOK CENTER 2523 Bayou Road, New Orleans, LA. 70119 this coming Saturday AUGUST 11th 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM THE COCERT will feature tenor saxophonist BILAL SUNNI-ALI(fromerly with Gil Scott-Heron), along with alto saxophonist Rajah C, percussionist BABA ALONZO , Nana Anoa Nantambu and other New Orlearns guest artist. Brother Bilal Sunni-Ali along with other artists will also appear on the community TV shows the BALLOT or the BULLET hosted by Chui Clark 4:30, and OUR STORY hosted by Baba Wesley Johnson 7:30pm both on WEDNESDAY AUGUST 8th 2012 THE BLACK AUGUST TOUR is to bring attention to the many POLITICAL PRISONERS and PRISONERS OF WAR and to commemorate the many instances of BLACK RESISTSANCE that have taken place historically during the month of AUGUST.
